My Iacademy Physical Education Trip to Anilao, Batangas(back to my hometown near bauan) was nothing more than nostalgic. I first, thought of how much I missed the sweet, clean scent of air. The idea of walking uphill and downhill as well as riding on the boat all the way to the island and back to the main land.
However, Nostalgic it was for me. There was still something different from the traditional swimming. Although, the original plan was actually a trek to the hills and then a short snorkeling experience. I was actually caught by the two groups that were asked to go ahead and try the snorkeling experience instead of having to hike uphill. Only one of the group from the three buses were able to experience hiking.
The dismay did not last long, It was my first time to actually swim at above 20 feet deep. I swam in fear, thinking of probable jelly fishes and other poisonous sea critters that would be swimming such as sea serpents and the like. However, I was assured that there were none. Being so— I gathered my courage and bravely swam with my professor and a few of my school mates. I felt like I was flying, above the water. It seemed so natural yet, the more I swam, and looked at the corals. I felt sad for the nearby corals that surrounded the island. They all looked dead and dull, while the corals from the farther part towards the sea looked huge sometimes dull, but more times with colors of orange, red and green. It made me smile knowing that I saw a puffer fish and sea urchins.
My experience was almost close to spectacular, if not of my sun burnt skin. I now look like a chocolait truffle with vanilla icing. *laughs*
Anyway, as of the moment this is all I have to actually share. :D
Today was a failure to begin with—
March 21st, 2012
I was awake the whole night. Thinking…
After I’ve come home earlier than the usual time because I did not attend my Physical Education Class. I was feeling nauseated and felt the need to sleep early. Turns out, that because I slept that afternoon from school.
It resulted to me being awake the whole—- entire—-NIGHT.
At the break of dawn, I finally decided to hit the sack and hope to be able to wake up before 9am. But— of course, this was predictable that I would again be either late or absent for today’s lessons in Wikang Filipino.
Because I felt really off— I finally decided to just sleep it back to bed, and finally try to fix my room afterwards before heading out for my guitar lessons.
This is what ahead of me today, just because I wanted the money allowance to be on my safe keeping?
if anything new happens. Obviously there is always something new to talk about, it’s just that perhaps am now searching for a divine intervention or whatever it is that would be life changing.
If going out of the country did not please me as much as I am here in the Philippines. Then what does?
Sorry, the train of thought from the title of my post doesn’t really match up to it. So i decided change it.
If anything new comes up on my head, and I decided to actually walk the extra mile again like before. I’ll keep you guys posted.
EVANESCENCE- THE COME BACK
Finalllyyy one of the bands that started and ignited my youth is finally back and kicking!
While people from all over the world(including me) had anxiously awaited their come back. Finally, here comes “Evanescence” in the flesh after a multi year of hiatus, flares and ignites with their song forever enchanting and igniting life as they extend there hands towards the EV FANS(like me).
I’ve been reading reports about their interviews and amazingly, I just can’t spell it out right. Evanescence come back is amazing because of many various reason. The bands humility and love for their fans has made them more famous almost the same way as how their music have evolved through out the years. I’ve always been a fan, and I’m just glad their back.
So to all of you guys out there here in the Philippines, Evanescence will be coming here in the Philippines this coming February!
So if your one of their loyal supporters who awaited their come back, then I guess it’s time to work and save up!
Yey for evanescence!

SAVE BAGUIO TREE’S
SAVE THE SUMMER CAPITAL OF THE PHILIPPINES
Dearest Citizen,
I am a local student and an average human being. I do not hold anything greater than my property or have earned a formidable reputation for myself both online and offline. However, I heed to your attention like never before. If you have lived your life in the Philippines, then it’s time you take part of preserving and keeping it alive. The summer capital of the Philippines(Once a great tourist spot) is now in danger of further catastrophic damage. SM BAGUIO plan to extend their grounds and cut more tree’s!
Honestly, This is an honest opinion. I apologize to all baguio citizen’s who will find this offensive, or hurtful it may. However, my last visit to baguio city was late last year. It was for a cosplay event that my partner had organized together with a few well established baguio organizations. A sponsored place to stay, and a formidable family have supported us all the way. However, during my stay. My what use to be awesome experience on my trip to baguio had sadly decreased more than before. Why would it decrease when it was my first time to go there. Yes! first time as a young adult, alone and on my own without my family beside me.
Here is why: My first time in baguio was back in the 90’s and 2000’s. My father had a friend who owned a house and we decided to go on a family vacation. It was an awesome experience, cold and very green. I had an awesome time, even thou I could not remember much of the sceneries except the abundant tree’s and yes, the coldness of the weather from morning till evening. However, sad to say. When I visited late last year, there was a drastic change towards the weather, it was the same month only a different year of my visit, but I was sure that there had been many sad things that had happened. The tree’s were lesser, it was much less colder and there were more commercial establishments. My cousin, whom I’ve brought along with me to enjoy had compared baguio from tagaytay and had stated an opinion that “tagaytay is much cleaner and colder now compared to baguio” I couldn’t believe what he had to say, because it had also been a while since I had last enjoyed my stay in tagaytay as well. However, I was able to spend a short while late 2008 and I think what he said was almost close to an agreeable statement that indeed tagaytay has become much greener and colder through these recent years.
So if you love baguio, even if your not living there. SUPPORT AND REBLOG THIS POST!
SIGN A PETITION AND SPREAD THE WORD!
HELP SAVE BAGUIO TREE’S!
My two scents of thoughts:
“The Philippines is an agricultural based country. We should focus more on how to further develop our resources instead of cutting down our own”
“Baguio was known for it’s cold weather, flowers, clean and green city. It is a place where it was known to be a sanctuary away from the city of bright lights and malls. Where raw vegetables and fruits are planted and sold at low prizes and valued by each citizen. Not a place to build a bigger MALL”
When My stay in Baguio was over, I was often asked how my stay had been. Sad to say, I could only reply bluntly. “It was as if I never left the city, it was fine”.
SAVE THE TREE’S! SAVE THE PHILIPPINE’S TREASURE SPOTS!
DO NOT LET IT A REGRET WHERE PEOPLE WILL SUFFER IN THE END!
